Here you can read stories of families we have helped, after reading them please think about supporting our work by making a donation.
The money we receive from fundraising and donations allows us to provide more vital resources and medical equipment for the children’s ward and paediatric intensive care unit at Royal Brompton Hospital. We rely on our fantastic supporters who fundraise for our charity to help us make a difference and improve the patient experience. Whether you are planning your own event or challenge or are participating in one of our organised events, our team will support your activities to help you make the most of your fundraising.
We have a number of organised fundraising activities that take place throughout the year, including our Inflatable Obstacle Runs, 5k and 10k runs, full and half marathons, bike rides, skydives, and much more. So if you’re up for a challenge then we will have an event to suit you. Fancy something different? We can also arrange bespoke events for individuals or teams.
Organising your own event is a great way to raise money and have fun at the same time. Why not set yourself a personal challenge, hold a cake sale, or take part in a sponsored walk? The possibilities are endless. Don’t worry if you don’t know where to start, we are happy to chat with you and help offer suggestions.
Did you know you can fundraise for us on Facebook and Instagram? If you’re celebrating an anniversary, milestone, or achievement, why not host a fundraiser on your Facebook page to raise funds for our families and support the work we do. Fundraising is a lovely way to celebrate a birthday and all funds raised go towards vital medical equipment and resources for our patients.
Since Amazon ended its Smile program, many charities are moving to GiveShop instead. GiveShop is a brilliant app that allows you to shop at your favourite stores while a percentage of the sale will be donated to us, at no additional cost to you.
We partnered with umbrella lottery platform One Lottery where your support can help to generate regular sustainable funding, which will enable us to continue to help our young patients and their families. Additionally, there are chances to win weekly cash prizes of up to £25,000.
Squiggle is another really easy way that you can donate to us. With Squiggle, you can write your will for free in the comfort of your own home as part of an exclusive offer for The Brompton Fountain supporters. Simply choose a timeslot that works for you and a Squiggle Consultant will give you all the help you need. They’ll run through a complete fact-finding consultation to ensure all your needs are covered, but you are in no way obligated to take up any additional services. You won’t be obliged to give a specific donation to us — any support, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated.
